If you're ever gonna read a review and actually take the review into account when making a decision whether or not to purchase an item or service this is the time to do so. Safe Haven isn't getting bad reviews or ratings just because.

I can guarantee what they're saying is true. Luckily I'm a very cautious consumer and did not fall into their trap but at least hope this review can help other people. I was referred to Safe Haven by my realtor after purchasing a brand new home. So I called thinking I was contacting the actual ADT company not an authorized dealer.

First mistake... Secondly when you call them they ask for personal info like credit card #, SSN # to run your credit and say it's a soft inquiry on your credit report. It's not... It's a hard inquiry so unless you're planning on purchasing a system DO NOT give out info over the phone.

The scam artists will still come out to your house without giving them this information, they will charge your credit card without your permission even if you choose not to use them. They lie, make promises they don't keep and are the most unprofessional, unethical business I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Like I said earlier, I never gave them my credit card # or signed anything so when the installer came out to my house and told me that I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket after the sales consultant and I had already discussed and agreed on a price. I pretty much kicked his *** *** out of my house.

So I was one of the lucky ones and want to warn as many people as possible to not make a huge mistake by using Safe Haven.

Either call ADT, the actual company or go with another alarm system company like Guardian. You've been warned...

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

I wish I would have read this and the other reviews. I was scammed into a price I didn't agree to.

I was told there was no money up front from Seth the sales rep. Within 24 hours, they billed me all of June and July. I am a teacher an get paid once a month. I was told I would be billed on the 26th.

I have had to deal with NSF's as I live paycheck to paycheck. I have tried to resolve this issue starting with the sales rep all the way to the corporate office. I do not feel safe with this system as my dogs howling sets off the alarm.

Police called twice and the next time I will have to pay a fine with the police department. I just want to cancel my agreement as it is not what I signed up for in a security system.

I have been an employee of safe haven security for a year and a 1/2 I always inform all of my customers that the 1st month will auto draft within 24 hours of their installation and that it will be a Prorated amount depending on the time of the month when they install it could be up to 2 months of monitoring, I'm proud to be a part of this company and so I'd like to apologize for your experiences.
